ONE WORLD AI / PRIVACY
This policy explains how One World AI Limited handles personal data when you visit this website or choose to contact us.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is One World AI Limited, company number 17173227, whose registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
When you request a briefing on our contact page, we receive your name, work email address, organisation name and a short description of the workflow you are interested in. If we then agree to discuss a pilot, we ask for the details listed below.
When you send a pilot enquiry through the form on our contact page or by email, we receive the information you provide: your name, role, work email address and phone number; your organisation’s name, registration number, registered address, website, LinkedIn page if given and a description of the organisation; the content of your enquiry; and anything else you choose to include.
Before a meeting or a pilot discussion, we carry out a know-your-customer (KYC) check on the organisation, using public sources such as company registers and sanctions lists.
A form submission is sent to our company mailbox as an email and is not stored in a database on the web server. To prevent abuse, the server keeps a keyed hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network prefix) together with the times of your submissions for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions. The key is secret and the address itself is not stored.
This website is hosted by IONOS SE. When you visit a page, the hosting servers process technical information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, your browser type and the referring page. This information is used to deliver the website securely and to investigate faults or misuse.
This website does not set cookies, does not use advertising tools and does not store information in your browser.
We use Plausible Analytics, provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia), to count visits in aggregate: pages viewed, referring websites, country, device type and browser, and whether a contact form was sent. Plausible does not use cookies or other identifiers stored on your device and does not build profiles. To count unique visitors it creates a daily hash from your IP address and browser details with a salt that is discarded after 24 hours; your IP address itself is not stored. The data is processed and stored in the European Union. See Plausible’s data policy.
Apart from the Plausible script, fonts and images are served from this website; no other third-party content is loaded when you view a page.
Links to other websites, such as Companies House, LinkedIn, the FCA or the European Commission, take you to services with their own privacy policies.
We process enquiry data where it is necessary to respond to your request and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business and in verifying the organisations we deal with. Technical data is processed for our legitimate interest in delivering a secure website. Aggregate, cookieless analytics are based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. We rely on consent where it is required, including for optional business communications, and may process data where necessary to meet legal obligations.
Access to personal data is limited to authorised people and to service providers who support our website, email and business operations, including our hosting provider (IONOS SE) and our analytics provider (Plausible Insights OÜ). Both process website data in the European Economic Area.
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where law requires a longer period. Server access logs are kept for 90 days for security and fault investigation and are then deleted.
We take proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or erase the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, contact us at privacy@oneworldai.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
We may update this policy when our website, data practices, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version will always be published on this page.
